Check It Out: The Guidance Department's Summer Program Bulletin

Do you like to travel?  Are you a student who would like to extend your academic experiences beyond the traditional classroom?  If you are, check out our new Summer Programs Bulletin!  Every month, we will update a list of summer programs that take place on college campuses, as well as many other amazing locations across the country.  It’s worth taking a look to see if any of the available programs would work for you!  If you have any questions, or need help applying, see your friendly guidance counselor soon!
To find the Summer Programs Bulletin, visit either Memorial or the Senior High School's Guidance Department homepage.

Attention: Students Currently Enrolled in a Dual Credit Course

If your student is currently enrolled in a Dual Credit class, they can choose to earn college credits through Cumberland County.  Students have received the application materials in class and must return all completed forms by February 28th if they are interested in this opportunity.  You may call 327-6083 or 327-6055 if you have any questions.

Evening Hours

The Guidance Department at Memorial will be having Evening Office Hours on Wednesday, February 19th  from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.  Evening hours are a service provided by Millville High School Counseling to assist parents who otherwise might not be able to meet with a counselor.  They are optional and to participate you need to call for an appointment. The location for the evening hour appointments will be at Millville Senior High on Wade Blvd. Please call 327-6083 or 327-6055 / x6056 for an appointment if you would like to meet with a counselor.

2014 Spring Sports

The Millville Athletic Department would like to remind everyone that the Spring Sports season begins on Friday, March 7, 2014. Any students who wish to participate must have a current sports physical on file in the nurse’s office. Sports physicals are valid for 365 days from the date of exam. If your physical date is more than 60 days old, you must complete a re-cert form. All forms must be turned in to the school nurse. Physicals may take up to 14 days to be cleared and re-certs may take up to 48 hours to be cleared. Only athletes who are cleared can participate in practices – no exceptions. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. LaGamba in the Athletic Office at 856-327-6059.
