Mr. Vorndran enters his fourth year as Guidance Supervisor after 12 years of teaching and 14 years of counseling. He has worked in several schools including Vineland, Doherty (Colorado Springs), and Timber Creek before coming to Millville where he grew up and currently resides. Mr. Vorndran graduated from Rowan University with an MA in School Counseling in 1997 and completed work on his Supervisory Certification in 2006. He plays the guitar and enjoys running. Mr. Vorndran has completed 6 marathons.

Mrs. LaFerriere was born and raised in Cumberland County and graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in 1998. She went on to Boston University where she earned a scholarship to play NCAA Division I field hockey in their nationally ranked program. There, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education in 2002 and was also recognized as an All-American student-athlete. In 2004, Mrs. LaFerriere returned to South Jersey where she started her teaching career as a social studies teacher at Memorial High School. In 2011, she earned her Master's degree from Wilmington University in School Counseling and has since joined the Guidance Department as a counselor.  Mrs. LaFerriere enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Mrs. Russo is a graduate of Wilmington University with a Masters Degree in School Counseling and a graduate of Rutgers University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. She earned her undergraduate degree at Rowan University in Business. Mrs. Russo was a business and technology teacher at Delsea High School. In addition she was a guidance counselor at Cleary Middle School and Buena Regional High School prior to joining the MSHS guidance department in 2005. Mrs. Russo spends her free time with her husband and son.

Mrs. Jackson was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating high school she went on to attend Indiana University of PA where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. She went on to earn a Master of Arts from Rowan University for Student Personnel Services and made her last stop at Wilmington University where she earned a Master’s degree for school administration. Mrs. Jackson has been in education for 19 years and 12 of those years she has been a high school guidance counselor. She truly likes her job and has enjoyed her time in Millville.

Ms. Beth Davis-Sharp was born and raised in The Holly City and graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1984. She graduated from Stockton State College in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing before attending Rowan University where she earned a NJ Secondary Teaching Certificate in Business and Information Technology. Ms. Davis spent her first ten years in education as a Bridgeton Bulldog teaching Career and Technical Education, coaching Cheerleading, and serving as a Class Advisor. In 2001 she decided to return to her roots. A Thunderbolt once again she taught in the CTE department at Memorial High School and was an AVID Elective teacher. The next leg of her journey found her at Lakeside Middle School serving as the Literacy, Curriculum & Instructional Coach. A lifelong learner, she returned to the classroom at Wilmington University and earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. She considers it a true privilege to be working as a Guidance Counselor at her Alma Mater and particularly enjoys having a strong connection to the community and the families that she serves.

Mrs. Michelle (Capizola) Giercyk was born and raised in Cumberland County and graduated from rival Vineland High School in 1995. After high school graduation she moved on to college and received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Richard Stockton College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Upon graduation Mrs. Giercyk worked as a Social Worker for Willingboro Public Schools for one year before moving over to Millville. She started at Lakeside Middle School in 2002 working as a School Social Worker. Mrs. Giercyk loved working with the children in Millville and decided to go back to college so she could continue to work in the district in a different capacity. In May 2008 Mrs. Giercyk received a Master’s Degree in Elementary and Secondary School Counseling from Wilmington University. An opportunity came up at Millville Senior High School in September 2010 and she moved into her current position as Guidance Counselor. Mrs. Geircyk has thoroughly enjoyed her time in Millville and looks forward to many more years in the district.
