Earth Day provides a great opportunity to reflect what more you can do to help clean and sustain our natural environment and resources. If you are feeling that you could do more, start a project! There are organizations that award young people for creating programs that help protect and make our Earth a cleaner place to live. For example, every year the EPA sponsors the President's Environmental Youth Award. The PEYA program honors a wide variety of projects developed by young individuals, school classes, summer camps, public interest groups, and youth organizations to promote environmental awareness.
