Last week, our local businesses quickly sold out of most of their back-to-school supplies as students eagerly cleared the shelves with high expectations for their first day of school. With that in mind, Memorial and the Senior High Schools certainly did not disappoint on opening day. The faculty and staff enthusiastically greeted incoming and returning students with the highest of hopes for the new year. In addition, the two high schools have never looked better. Over the summer, numerous improvements were made to both buildings in an effort to improve the overall experience of all high school students and staff members within the district. I think it's safe to say, it was a great day to be a Bolt.
